The Phantom 250 is a high quality, durable sleeping bag, especially designed to ensure maximum thermal insulation and comfort. It features QXF 3D spiral hollow fibre encased in a protective Apex Cocoon fabric, Polyamide Rip-Stop outer and breathable soft touch Polyester lining along with a well-shaped hood. It has also a shaped foot box and 3D neck padding. It is worth adding the QXF 3D is a specialist fibre filling that has been designed for use in outdoor applications such as sleeping bags and quilted outer garments. As all of the best insulators are very effective at trapping air so that it can be warmed by the body heat, each individual filament of the QXF3D fibre is spiralled with 4 hollow cores, which significantly increases the ability to trap air and to reduce heat loss. What is more the QXF 3D fiber is lighter than ordinary solid fibre fillings and it compress effectively to minimize pack size. Moreover it retains its insulating abilities even when damp, does not require special care and may be even washed in the washing machine.
